What cam is in the motor, regardless of engine age the cam is going to have the major role in determining vacuum.

I have been using BBP for email tuning. I am running 5# of boost and loving it. Just got meth installed and my manual boost controller so I can up the boost. I also purchased efilive so i can start leaning how to tune myself.

Nice! I'd say 9-12psi will be fine on a stock motor.. maybe more? What do plan on running with the meth?

My original goal was 10-12 psi but BBP is seeing some pinging at 5psi with 91 octane. Tried almost every station in town. Seems everywhere has poor quality fuel. So with meth hopefully I can get up to 10#s.

Wow! That's crazy! You shouldn't have any problems getting it to 10psi! Then you'll really see it start to come alive!

Added air to the system sprayed her down with soapy water. only leak i could detect was a very slight one coming from the blow off valve vacuum fitting. Doubt this will fix the check engine light.

Hmmmm.... that's strange! Well now you know that's all good! I guess the only other thing could be your brake booster line and such. I wanna say it has a built in check valve, so when the motor is running normal, in vacuum, it could be leaking unmetered air in. You would more than likely be able to hear it though, if it's bad enough to throw a check engine light.

Is your check engine light on constantly, or just randomly?

The light is on more often then not but since i fixed that small leak it has only come on once. Not sure if it is a coincidence but somthing changed.
