Sure did. I now need a new 6L. But a 6000lb Tahoe getting 4 wheel peel off the line was pretty sick. Not sure what happened but it blew the dipstick out and bearly runs now.

Anybody in Houston have a used 6L?

 

Sounds like a piston went south.
If it blew the dip stick out.
Did you check the plugs?

 

Damn, That sucks! I know of a ls2 but he wants like a grand or so for it. I have a stock 4.8 if that would help. If you need any help or a place to work on it, let me know.

Thank you. It sucks for sure it's never ran as hard as it has been lately. I couldn't believe the 60's were maxed out along with the ton of meth. But that was in first gear. After that it felt like power dropped and looking at the log the injectors went back down to like 70% and was rich. The mustang I was racing had a tag that said fivoo it sounded pretty bad but I left him behind until it popped and he rolled on by.

We are going to tear into it today.

 

Sorry to hear that. I'm in Waco for the weekend otherwise I would have come by cars and coffee, could have started a sleeper Tahoe section in the parking lot

Hope it's something minor and most of the parts can be salvaged.
