They gave you hose clamps with kit for the elbows and whatnot?

I could see that, the ones I ordered are from Jegs say 1200 degrees any idea exactly how hot that manifold gets? I ordered the same as I have for the vette only different color, I don't think resting on the manifold would be a good idea either way, but good news is I have yet to order new plug wires, I was planning on using the short MSD wires.

I have the same kit, the red elbow in his picture is not part of the On3 kit I have.

what i purchased was just the hotside and then i had to purchase the clamps separate which was no biggy but the actual kit comes with them. yea i guess im gonna have to go with the plug wire kit there offering. but hey for 40 bucks ill try the wire covers first seeing i only need four

EGTs with a turbo are roughly 1600-1800 under load depending on power of course. From extensive experience, if the wire is anywhere close to touching, heat shield or not, it will melt and you will be chasing your tail with misfires.

well def going with the wire kit lol since my truck is down right now any way for oil pressure issues. thanks atomic

I was just asking because I thought youre supposed to use t bolt clamps for the cold side pipes

funny story i used those and they did hold so i switched the clamps and just epoxied in some spots and it holds or held fine then
