OK, here's my opinion, lol. If you can't make boost with out the wheels spining, that's a brake issue! lol. Making more boost is gonna spin them EASIER. Are you wanting more boost to make less power so the wheels don't spin? Cuz that doesn't make since!

Adding timing makes more power which pushed the converter out to a higher stall which let the PRM up to get more boost to make more power which pushes the converter even out more! Its a vicious circle!! But that's the way it works.

Like kb said, more timing makes more power on the line if you have enough converter to get rpm's where you want. Less timing makes less power letting you give more throttle on the line which flows more air which helps spool the turbo, also less timing pushes more combustion heat out the exhaust helping spool the turbo. In my experience, if you have a tighter converter, less timing will help you get a little more boost on the line if your brakes will hold it, while more timing with a lite looser converter makes more power, letting you leave the line making big power. Kinda hard to put in words, hope it makes sense

With no 2step, I could only build about 2-3 psi before breaking loose.. Activated 2 step and I can build 9psi no problem.. On the 2 step, only half of your engine is running, yes it makes more boost, but it doesnt necesarly makes more power... The power comes in as soon as all 8 cylinders kick in.. Watch Tarinitup video.. its a 9 psi launch, look at how much it squats and launches as soon as he lets off the brake and all cylinders activate.

I will resurface my rear rotors and deglaze my pads and see if that helps, now check your pm's

I am sure a bigger stall is ideal, but I am cheap. Really wondering if that 220 stall and a 2 step will get me out of the hole? I just want a 1.5XX 60 ft.
