I'd love to see how someone would make 2 sidemount whipple work together. doesn't seem possible. would you have an intake tube feeding each blower then have the compressed air join together to go into the intake manifold? hmm, i suppose it could work if you could figure out where to put another one and make some crazy *** bracket for it. they are cheap enough, i should just buy another one and have SD concepts make it for me.

Someone just had an eBay ad for an adapter to mount twin Whipples...it was basically a modified intake manifold with the chargers mounted at 30 degree angles on either side..like this ^. I'll see if I can find the eBay pic when i get home.

EDIT: Found the ad and the pic:

I saw that video. It was a late 70s vette. It was pretty nasty. He would break the tires loose just barely touching the throttle. They were the old side-mount magnas.

I know that whipple refers to it as there 'quad rotor' setup. I have seen it on a couple hot boats with great results. here is a video of one on the dyno http://marineassault.net/Dyno%20Pull.htm

and a video of it in the boat, you can get a good look at how they are setup. Now these are carbed setups but the injected would be very similar I would imagine. http://marineassault.net/Running%20Hard.htm

I just talked with some ppl from Cummin's engine marine division, they can crank out twice the power out of those engine in marine applications and run them all day, why....think infanite heat sink....takes a looong time to heat up a lake
