Default twin turbo 4.8 lifter tick - upgrade heads?

Hey i have a junkyard 4.8 with twins, its been together about 1.5-2 years, taking some good abuse. 100% street driving
its stock bottom end, tu0 cam, dual springs, hard pushrods, ebay head studs, mild port work on heads. everything else stock.
the lifters have started making noise, so i think its earned a new set.

as long as the heads are off, is it worth getting a set of 243s for it? i can do all my own labor, i have all the parts to use a bare set of castings, i would just need to pay for castings and flat milling. i would throw some mild port work at them and all the parts off the 4.8 heads(i have a correct set of intake valves already).

thanks

It certainly wouldn't hurt to add those heads.

IMO, I would loose the Ebay head studs and get a quality set of lifters.

The cheap studs have been tested and found to be weaker than a factory TTY bolts.

I did it on my twin turbo 4.8. I'd say it's worth the money to do the swap
