Default twin-turbo a '02 chevy silverado

new to this site..be kind-last one was not. any advice about puttin' twin-turbo's on '02 chevy silverado? its stock 5.3 and A4-what specific brand? does any one make a kit? whay kind of hp can i expect? live in california so a little limited.

First welcome to the site.

There is only one twin turbo production kit that I know of and Synergy Motorsports makes it. ---->

Just looking for a little more power for the stock engine or what are your future plans for the kit? That will determine what size turbos you'd want to get.

just want some nice sounds at the light-raise a few eyebrows-wondering whats she got under the hood. california is pretty tight though-so have to keep in mind it has to smog...

NO smog legal twin kits that I know of....or even singles for that matter. If you have a visual check then you're screwed.

Turbos aren't going to make a lot of noise at the stop light anyway. Now a S/C...

I hear there is a smog legal kit... Know anything about that Blown?

actually yes. had work done on husbands 04 corvette by Rick @ Synergy in Fremont. he now wants to change heads, cam, get long tube headers, i suggested S/C. his car though. he now wants to try autoXing it. so heads and cam would be rockin!

if it werent for smog you would have a few choices but the only way i see to pass smog with ANY twin turbo kit is to pay off the smog inspector guy
