twin or single turbo?

in have an 01 sierra 2500HD w/ an lq4 2wd. i and going to build it in to a hot rod tow rig for my drag truck. im planning on doing some sort of turbo set up. i want to be different. thats why im going with a trubo set up instead of a supercharged set up. i was wondering weather to go with a single or a twin set up. the load im going to be hauling is not going to be verry heavy; an open car hauler with a nbs s10 on it that si going to be put on a pretty intense diet with an 8.1 vortech BBC, TH400 trans. i think a single 67-1 might be to large for what im trying to do, so i was thinking a twin GT35R with 50 trim turbine and a .75 to .80A/R. any thoughs and oppinions would be great. what should i do for heads, cam, rocker arms, exc? i would realy like have a fully forged internals. and i was planning on doing a FAST LS-X intake manifold.

well the LQ4 is a vortech 6.0. from what i understand; its a low compression verson of the LQ9. and i was going to run them in sieres. one for each manifold, commonly boosting in to the fast intake manifold.

im running gt-35s in my new build with a few more cubes . i think rick sized them appropriate to not be laggy , snappy yet still make tons of power.
for a twin setup on a stock lq4 you may want to go a bit smaller for a tow rig that will stay in the usable power range and still be able to get you moving . a single would also be more than fine for that kind of setup .

Single is the way to go for the funds. Twins are cool but not needed especially since its a tow set up. Keep it simple and call it a day.. 76mm turbo with a .81 or 96 will do the job. The 6.0L can pretty much pull that trailer around easily by itself. Adding a turbo is for the fun of it.

the cool factor is the reason i was leaning tords a twin set up. in ether set up, what size turbo(s) am i lookin at getting? i was thinking if i did a twin turbo set up, i think it would be cool to do a dual intercooler set up as well. i dont know though. i guess im just pondering up ideas with nothing to do but wash and wax the truck. lol
