Default twin Gt 25 on 5,3 for a 450whp DD

Hi, planing to boost my Rcsb 5,3 for a nice fastish dd
I can get GT25 of a RB25 really cheap and with flip manifold for a nice dd

This or 84mm turbo with ,68backside
Goal is fastish dd with supporting mods

Twins are cool.. but what are the specs on those turbos?

Sounds like alot of work for 450whp. If you want to run twins for low lag, a basic PD blower kit could get you there.

A SC unit is too pricy and its a dd so SC = high iat wish will make it usless

I think i m going with the 84mm turbo

School me on why you think a SC will have high DD IATs ????? Is this what you read on the interweb ?

Don't need twin for 450hp. Seems like a lot of work for low hp.

lol. U could have a nitrous kit and still DD and spray it when u want 450hp lmao.

A ton of guys on this site DD supercharged trucks with no issues. I too am confused as to your high IAT comment. My system (with IAT sensor located in the lower manifold) sees a maximum of 20 deg. over ambient at peak boost/rpm.

Not trying to knock your plans, just thought that's a lot of custom work for very modest power goal. Good luck with everything and please post pics when you're done!
