Looks like fun...how fast are you seeing 18psi...what rpm?
Probable about 3500 rpm, I don't know, haven't really watched it to close. It's like get on the gas watch the gauge increase and NOT stop and then lift,

Found my boost creep problem, This is the flex coming off the waste gate

This was a brand new flex coupler and was not like this when I installed it. Kinda weird it did this. I don't know what happened to it, it looks like the lining was to big and then jammed in there and then expanded and folded in on its self. Both ends are still crimped. VERY strange...

Well, since I had already started relocating the WG to just before the turbo in the manifold when I found this, I am going finishing moving it to there, so It will be like a conventional turbo/WG setup and be able to vent all 8 cylinders but I think if I would have just put a new flex in it, it would have worked fine.

Can we get a side view of the flex joint? That would take alot of expansion of the hot parts to make it crumple that much...any idea why it would be flexing that much?

Kyle, get the ones that do not have that on the inside. The stainless mesh will come apart and do ugly things.
The mesh on the out side keeps them from flexing too much and from some expansion.

Jeez Kyle, you're not supposed to make fake vaginas out of stainless mesh! Ouch!
