Ok so....Now that this is being put to bed can we get the low down on what happened?

Oh.

The low down is that nothing was prepped correctly -- as a result, the coating could be scrapped off with plastic. It also came off as a fine powder on the inside, which went through the TB and cylinders... Very yechy.

 

Yuk, any pics of the inside of the motor

 

Not yet, but in my LSX thread, you can see some of the sludge that made it down to the pan plug.
