So are you going to open up the engine after all that crap ran through it? What a f-up crappy deal, you dumped way too much time into that truck to have something like that happen....

I may pull the manifold off this winter and eye ball me some ports.

Mostly, though, that just makes me depressed

What grade stainless did you use 304, 316, something lower?

Stainless WILL rust if its a lower grade.

I believe the headers are 304 -- got them from StainlessWorks.

If a magnet sticks, it is lower grade stainless, not a true stainless steel alloy.
Some 300 series stainless steels still attract magnet slightly but you will tell the diffrence. 400 stainlees steel grades area great but have even more steel in them than 300 series. 400 series is typically used in knives and cutting blades. There are so many diffrent alloys os stainless you ould talk about them, their properties and uses for hours on end.
Wouldn't that be fun?!?!?!?!

Erik when you are taking close up pics set you camera mode to macro, the close up pics will be in focus better. You can see where the camera was focusing on objects further away then the subject you were trying to photograph.

I have seen these parts in person and Erik got a raw deal. I would not do business with FX.

Believe it or not, that was macro In some cases, the camera just has to be too close to get a good pic (no lift here) and it was too dark despite the lights and flash. Ah well. Good enough to see what a train wreck they did on prep
