bmd_CL I have it in order it’s a 5-6 week leed time. Hoping it’s what I think it will be I’m trying really hard to keep the engine bay clean and serviceable.
E-fans showed up relized I need the v8 radiator found a guy local to me that has one new in box for a decent price going to pick it up Tuesday. Also got my trucool 40k mounted. Talking to one of my areospace
engineering buddies he thinks I’ll need to duct it since it’s at and angle for it to work properly. I also got my Current Perfomace harness in. Stating to feel a little over my head on the wiring im in uncharted waters now and I want it to look nice and work so this part may take longer.
Yea youll need a shroud with fans or at least a duct to let the trans cooler work properly. Im also an aerospace engineer for what its worth lol. Behind the bumper like that doesnt work well at all. If you can put it up behind or in front of the intercooler itll work much better, even if its sandwhiched in there. Marketplace coming in clutch this week. Scored brand new in box mishimoto radiator for $200 off. Also hopefully making a little road trip this weekend to pick up some new seats to live out my old ricer days. Also means Atomic your about to get an order from me lol. Also slept some on the cooler placement I’m gonna try and squeeze it between the intercooler and the a-frame. I think it might fit with Atomics bracket. I rather relocate it then wire up more fans and build ducting.
Was able to snag those seats and they are mint super happy. $800 for the pair and they fit me perfect I’m a bigger guy so some of the race seats I have to squeeze into. These are the right size. Also, I jumped on Atomics Black Friday sale and snagged my seat brackets and harness bar so this whole setup is actually safe. Truck won’t be caged or at least not any time soon so wanted to make sure my restraints were properly mounted so I don’t have a back injury if I get in a wreck. Excited for the harness bar pulled a few photos from AFP. I haven’t kept up with my YouTube channel so I’ll see if I can make a little video of the install small truck update.
