I think the 8 rib will be more than enough for a front drive unit. I'm interested in seeing just how fast you can go on the 6 rib.

what tensioner are you using? i think that is a big part of how much slip you will see. the stock tensioner is not something i would use. the magnacharger 8 rib one is a minumum on a setup like this.

why to much hype?? This is bad *** and iat temps are under 110 after 5 back to back runs at 11.5 psi boost and drop down so fast.

Magncharger did this right with the tvs line

I believe the 'hype' was guys were putting things together last winter and wanted to run the 2300's and I dont think they were 'ready' or 'done' so guys had to go 122 to have their trucks running this past season, now (in Ray's case) is it worth the cost and changes to your set-up to run the 2300???

From my reading of the charts, graphs the awnser must be yes.

I think the biggest point with this blower is that it should to be faster at say 12psi than a 122 would be at 15 or 16psi. Even at normal boost levels it's going to be impressive without spinning it to the moon like previous models.
