We're almost done, running around town all friday and today for parts, this sux

Btw, the heater hoses hit the charger intake elbow, so much that they have to be pulled out of the way for installation.
We'll be done with the charger install today, dyno it, then do the cam, then dyno it.
The 383 was a 9.5compression engine, forged, cam, blah blah. It runs very strong! But, we built the engine for more, we would just like to work the engine to it's fullest potential.
I'll have to look into that front drive kit, may be the only way to go.

TTT,
Forgot to post up the results,
Recap:
5.3L Tahoe
TVS1900 appx 6-7psi
Small cam, headers
Truck put out 428hp and xxxtq (i'll post up graph later).
Get this, since the Maggies put out so much lowend torque, I chose a cam that had more topend. Max power was about 7,000rpms, yikes. Pulls like a sob on the topend, it's real hiway killer!
It also ran a 106mph in the 1/4 with big *** 22's(i think) Rockstars.
That should be good for a very low 13sec, possibly a high 12sec.
later,
allen
