Does anyone know if the MagnaCharger TVS 2300 2005-2006 LS2 GTO Kit (part# 012360133BL) would work on a NNBS 5.3? I have a 2011 Sierra with a 5.3L and a guy local to me is selling his barely used setup and I think I can get it for a great deal.

 

Unfortunately no it wont... the blower spacing is not right for the truck accessory system.

 

it can be made to work but it takes some work. im in the process of doing this now.

No it is a good deal. Just be careful as making it fit may turn it into a not so good deal.

 

that's a smoking deal only thing im not sure about fitment wise is if the GTO heat exchanger will work or if the truck throttle body will clear the jackshaft (im using a 90mm car TB) you will also need to clearance the alt bracket some

You would have to change over to GTO, corvette, G8, or CTSV accessories and AC. The pulley alignments are different on the GTO than the trucks.

 

changing over accessories and AC sounds expensive and labor intensive. think im gonna back away from this idea.
