which is better? advantages and dissadvantages of the tvs 1900. ive got a radix, and I saw a similar build with the tvs, same motor as I have, he made about 500rwhp, just wondering if I would be less, more, or about the same.
here is his car

mine is an 88 gta, ls1, headers, no cats, slp exhaust, ill have the 2.9 pulley, innercooled, and a blower cam.
and I was thinking about upgrading to the 90mm throttle body J tube, would i gain much from this?
and as for cams, ive looked at a few, the lingenfelter, the ls6, would I gain much more by going with the lingenfelter over the ls6? GT2-3 is the lingenfelter cam.

the M112 felt like it had all of it's ball in the low end of the power band, the TVS has it al the way to the top and as far as I've seen the top goes on forever. I made ~50hp better with the TVS with a larger pulley IIRC

The 1900 is bigger (same size as mp122) and is capable of more boost before heating things up too much. Compared to a 112, it's just bigger and better all over. You can use a little more cam with the TVS. Anything bigger than a mild cam is kind of a waste with a 112. A big cam might sound good, but the numbers aren't there if you're already pullied down to a 2.9" drive pulley.

So, Bill, power delivery of Radix (down low) vs TVS (all the way to top) is like comparin a TPI to a LS engine.
old motorhead, you said 1900 is bigger (same size as mp122) and is capable of more boost before heating things up too much (meanin more efficient). Compared to a 112, it's just bigger and better all over. You can use a little more cam with the TVS. Anything bigger than a mild cam is kind of a waste with a 112. A big cam might sound good, but the numbers aren't there if you're already pullied down to a 2.9" drive pulley.
As technology marches on, I should hope things improve. Only downside I see to TVS is price is a bit more than Radix.
The rest seems like a total winner.
I also like how that black finish on TVS integrates w/. rest of engine for factory look.
