TVS 1900 - how does the bypass valve attach?

Default TVS 1900 - how does the bypass valve attach?

Just as the title says, how does the bypass valve on a TVS 1900 attach?

I have a Roush supercharger I was finishing up the install on last night when I realized the bypass valve seemed very lose. After further inspection it appears that whatever was holding the bypass valve in place broke off. It looks like there are 3 or 4 post that stick into holes on a mounting plate, however it is not apparent how it was fastened to the plate. Are they bolts, plastic rivets, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

So it looks like its held on by integrated plastics rivets of sorts. I'm surprised no one had had issues with these. There doesn't seem to be a good way to fix it.

Pictures? Those things were known to break during shipping, but I've never heard anything quite like what you are describing.

I am not familiar how the Roush bypass mounts.

I'll try to get a picture tonight. Basically it amounts 3 plastic rods that pushed through the mounting plate (they are a molded part of the bottom portion of the bypass valve) that get melted and flattened with some sort of hot iron to the back side of the mounting plate.

It was indeed broke during shipping. I noticed it was a little lose but didn't realize it was broke until I went to install it.

Any idea on how other people fixed their broken ones?
