That's a nice bump up from the LPE cams..wonder how it'd behave in a 5.3L? I'd expect some loss of bottom (out of boost) power. Have you done any of these in the smaller engines Joe?

 

Bill, I wouldn't worry bout it. You're not puttin it in anyway...on the other hand, Rick might be.

 

There are a few in the 5.3 SSR's. It has a pretty good lope in the smaller cube engines. We installed it N/A in an LS2 (customer will put TVS1900 o later) and still picked up a bunch of power everywhere.

I seen that you are a magnacharger dealer, and Just wondering if you sale packages there. Maybe like a cam and charger combo or something like that. Also, if I am looking for somewhere in the neighborhood of 450 rwhp which of the maggies would you recommend? I looked on your website at the charger for an 04 silverado and now i'm curious as to which one is listed there? Part #01-12-60-006. Is this the one for my truck? And is this a MP112?

 

We need to update our site with all the new TVS products. The ones listed on the site are all the MP112-MP122HH kits. We dont have cam packages but can point you in the right direction should that be your desire.

I would recommend a TVS1900 in you application. I would not recommend a cam with that as a goal. You can get there easy enough with boost alone and not hurt the driveability at all. If a cam is desired then a real nice cam that drives like stock is the Lingenfelter GT2-3.
