why would you just add a smaller pulley instead of looking for the root of the problem?

becuase im getting mixed reviews here.. ppl are saying the 3.2 should give me xx amount of boost, so if I pulley down and still lacking boost, then I know it is a mechanical problem... a pulley swap is easier, more affordable and less time consuming..

the stfts could be from the injectors not being dialed in perfect at idle.. will be trying out some new injector settings tonight..

Honestly I think you are doing it backwards. You really should work through the potential mechanical issues first then move on......starting with the proper tensioner and idler bracket.

That doesn't look like a TVS1900.

The MP112 et al have ribs in only one direction; the TVS's have window-pane ribs on the housing (like this one).

And yes...........CLEAN THAT ENGINE!!!!!

+100000000

changing pulleys is silly when you havent figured out the basic issues. get the proper idler bracket. ect Your just gonna need to do more tunning to adjust for the smaller pulley anyways. I would listen to brian being *** he is Mr. Magnuson

I would do the pulley before working too hard at the problem. The boost you're seeing is about what it should be with that pulley. I agree with Brian in that you want to make sure the idlers are working correctly. If you're going to fix the tune you might as well have the pulley on there that you're going to use in the future. I'm betting that once you get the boost up there you may find your lost hp. I recently worked on a car that at 5psi had a gain of just over 50RWHP from N/A. With the boost up to 8psi there was roughly a 100RWHP gain between 5psi and 8psi. This type of thing is a rare situation, but possible. A lack of power gain can be for many reasons (especially if you're not finished tuning), but if you're chase after a lack of boost that is only from an incorrect pulley how much time do you want to chase after a mechanical issue that may not even be there.

btw, stick some timing to it. 15 degrees with a 1900 is barely a start. lol
