Lightbulb Turbos V. Superchargers

Lets get a good debate brewin shall we? Im looking options up and down and so far it looks like Im gonna be blowin about 5G on a turbo or supercharger in some years to come. So that being said Procharger guarantees longest engine life and no 'over detonation of pistons'. However I cant help but giggle like a little girl when I hear turbo spool and a blow off so.. STS, Procharger, Magnuson, or Whipple? Thanks everyone

Debate's been brewed before! Not sure how many guys are excited about doing it again!

Here's an unbiased breakdown of each though.

You can certainly get into a kit for about 5k but really I think most of us who are FI have spent at least double.

Welcome to the forum. Like my friend above said this has been discussed over the years repeatedly. Each method of FI has it's benefit and there is no one better than the other, just some more suited to a particular application.

Stay a while and read a bit, you'll find a wealth of knowledge in these pages

There has been this debate over and over and over and over and over and over.

Hey now, we have been over this before.
The relationship is over.
Go your separate ways.
I do not wish to spend days reading U-alls dirty laundry again.
your ships have passed, it is time for a new journey now.
Live and let live with memories.

here have a couple of beers on me

But it's been hard for me to accept that it's over! The way the relationship ended was super hard on me and I'm still in denial! But I guess your right...I should move on and see what else is out there for me! Gosh it's great to have such good guys and friends to help pick me up when I'm feeling low!

Don't keep it all inside, talk to a friend about it, cry, ect...do what comes natural to your coping mechanism.

Once you get past the psychological stages of coping, you will be fine.

Just one step at a time bro...remember though, there are always more fish in the sea.

Good Luck!!

But...A properly setup super or turbo system will make enough power to pop a stock motor. Just make sure you have the fuel to feed it and a good tune. If it were me I would do turbo for a first choice and procharger for a 2nd. Each will make great power, pick one and don't look back!

I think we've had enough debates on this subject...
