well i worked with craig at gtp to get all my parts and then took it to a machine shop. i will do all the other work.

dont know how much boost it will hold but im more worried about the crank then the block.

as far as detonation that will be taken care of with alcohol injection.

cost was alot

would one of these set ups be any faster than the other one.

1. 6.0 with rod bolts and lower compresion forged pistons, 8psi(whipple) and a 150shot.

2. 6.0 with rod bolts and lower compresion forged pistons and lots of intercooled boost, maybe 15psi from a twin turbo set up.

probably looking at 600hp either way.

I found this today and i thought it was kind of funny. I guess your glad you went with the turbos parish.

I was so confused, i was reading where he had ran like a 13.3 and i didn't know what the hell was going on. Then noticed the thread was like 2 years old, hopefully 2 years from now i'll be running low 10's too....

Im looking at building a fast 4.8l, so thinkin about going with a turbo set up.. I heard that remote mounting the turbo is supposed to be better turbo set up, but I live in AZ where its hotter than hell so what would you suggest?

intercooling or some sort of water/meth injection is a must, go front mount, there just cooler and in my opinion more efficient.
