Hey guys im lookin at purchasing a turbonetics hurricane benita 7868. its got a 78mm compressor wheel with the f1 68mm turine wheel. Will this be too much for my stock block 4.8? My goal is to run low 11s then go with a bigger motor that I can still use this turbo on

Yes but I have a potential buyer for my homemade hotpipes and he wants that turbo so I need to buy a new one to go with my kbracing hot pipes

 

I would say its just fine. I'm pretty sure its basically a TC78 with a bigger cover, which people user on 5.3Ls all the time.

 

Well my 72mm/Q went 10.68 at 19psi dropping to 17. So if your setup right, a 72,76, or 78 will work fine for your low 11 goals. Also that F1 wheel likely flows better then the 67mm MP turbine wheel.
