I dont tow all that much either, maybe once a month. But I tow a 6,000 enclosed car hauler with very bad aerodynamics. If you are gonna tow with it stick with a lower stall, I might throw the stock stall back in just to see the difference.

I just put a billet yank truck thruster 3000sc in my 70. I told them to make it tight. And it is TIGHT *** HELL. Can only get 2400 out of it behind a 500 inch BIG BLOCK in a 4970lb truck. I still managed to run a 12.26, NA @ 6000' elevation though.(9000' DA). The 60' was a 1.70. My old modified stock converter that stalled 2800 ran 12.40s with a 1.78 60'. The yank drives like a stocker. Would pull 6000lbs no problem with a lockup.
