Does anyone paint/coat before wrapping or just go over bare steel? My hotside is mild steel and I'll be wrapping it soon. Thanks.

Since yours is mild steel you might want to ceramic coat it first. Mild will corrode relatively quickly with the heat and pressure of the turbo.
