I fiberglass them in and smooth and paint them. I have a customers 69 gto in the shop right now so I'm waiting to finish bodywork on it when the car leaves. They turn out real sweet!

If you look up my recent post on ls1tech, you will see my Monte Carlo swap thread and it is smoothed!

I love the use of the Holset. Awesome turbos. I used to run them (HX60 and HT60's) on my pulling tractor. What size exh housing does it have?

also if you want more whistle and little extra flow you can take the MAP grove silence plate out. To do so you'll notice on the intake housing new the wheel there is a inside snap ring, take that out then remove the gold colored piece out. DONE I have done this many time on my Dodge diesels (which use Holset).

Truck looks good man. I love to see homemade turbo kits. If you don't mind me asking, what do you think you have spent on the turbo swap?

I had about 3600 in just turbo and parts! I used the tranny out of a wrecked truck I bought.

Here is a pic of the exhaust housing! I'm not sure what to call the size.

I am in northern, ky
Pretty excited about the truck, it's doing great so far. Not doing as well on fuel as I had hoped but not bad.
