Turbo or supercharger?

Based on what you want blower. But unlike the other post. Stay away from roots chargers. I would go procharger. The no power down low is interesting as once the turbo is in boost and foot is down a proper setup drivetrain and tune should keep you in boost and power. And with a good matched stall that isn't even a issue. turbo is cheaper IMO. I also think a turbo is easier on maintenance. Chargers need to be sent off and wait to be rebuilt, if you want more boost new pulleys.
Best question is what level power you want? that will determine blower or turbo size.
500-550 turbo or supercharger but sounds like you want procharger

my procharger was sent back 3 times and on a different car twice and that doesn't count belt slip. Anyone that can turn a wrench can mount and disassemble a turbo. With turbo full replacement at $300-1000. what is a turbo kit cost vs supercharger. what are the power levels mod for mod. superchargers are more cash and then you still need headers.

No issues in 31,000 miles here since install. I installed it and have driven it everywhere as my service truck. Original belt, plugs, everything bone stock except shocks and custom tune. Had the canned tune for maybe 16-18 months? Been happy with it overall should've been factory oem.

Plugs were supplied with the kit so 31k since install. It was 445 after tune (flapper intact lol) but he pulled a little timing due to me loading the truck so heavily I guess.

I've got over 20k on a second hand Maggie and a 130k mile 4.8 I think I checked the plugs one time since the blower went on and the belt still looks brand new.
Reliability and lowend power is the entire reason I went PD blower.

Speed limiter got it at about 4800 so didnt get a max hp #. Torque peaked at 448. Sam said it would have likely been about 400 at peak hp. Correction for earlier 442,471. Shut it down at 5900 hadn't peaked yet. Been meaning to ask him if we could raise the shift points but it's not a priority yet.
