I'm trying to decide what to do on my truck. I'm putting my 9.5 cr 370 with AFR 225 heads in my 90 GMC RCSB with a built 80 behind it. The truck will pretty much be for the street with occasional trips to the track. I don't want something super laggy on the bottom but I also don't want to choke out up top. I know a lot of guys are running pt88s with that same set up and making good power but how street friendly is it? I thought about the pt 7675cea which is the same hp rating as the 88 but I don't know if I will choke it on the top if I really try to push it. I don't have a specific power level in mind but I would like to be able to run mid to low 10's in something I drive to the track and a 9.99 or better would be my ultimate goal with the truck. What are y'alls thoughts on it?

 

The budget Garrett turbos are making good power on a t6 kit.

 

A gt80 or pt76 would be a good match I think

 

That 7675 is a beast... Might not make 1200hp on a 370 but would still be capable of running a 9.99 or better.
