H beams are stronger but heaver then I beams. As far as pricing, it just depends on the company. Scat I beams are cheaper then their H beams.
I'm running Scat I beams cuz they were the cheapest forged rods I could find and a step over stock rods, and only about $280. For your goals, a stock rod will work fine for only 10 psi in a 6L.
