Ok so im goin to be installing a Basic STS Kit (6psi) pretty soon.
On my BONE STOCK truck what will i need to do?
1: Throttle body PCV line blocked and vent the VC? Along with PCV replaced by a Filter?
This is what mine looks like currently:
2: TR6 plugs? Have TR55s right now.
3: What about injectors and fuel pump?
I have stockers (24lb?) and stock fuel pump.
4: Of course ill be getting it tuned.
5: My mind has just gone blank..... help me out guys!!!!
Tranny, TC, and Eaton LSD are goin in this Saturday.
Im goin with a Water-To-Air intercoler, so i have to fab up a Resivoir.
So guys please share yalls knowledge.
I want to have this baby running by November 4th, but it depends on what all im goin to have to buy before then. Funds might not allow me to get it ready.

1. I never did it and don't have any problems
2. Definetly use TR-6's, gapped at about .035
3. I never ran only 6 psi, but from what i understand the stock fuel system will support it, although it would definetly be a good idea to upgrade.
Goog luck with it and have fun, turbos rock!

1. Try the STS setup first and install it carefully. Mine has been working fine for 1.5 years. Replace your PCV valve with a new one with the check ball in it. It will rattle when you shake it.
2. TR55 may be alright for a base kit but it will not hurt to ungrade to TR6. I left mine at the stock gap of .039".
3. The stock system may be pushed a little and yours is not new. I would consider going to Delphi Multec II Shorty #44 injectors and a Walbro inline 255lph pump. This will also prepare you for when you want more boost. It is just a matter of time.... LOL.
4. Get it tuned for sure. Then get tuning software so you can log and tune it yourself. You know you want it..... LOL.
5. Yup just another deep dark hole to throw money into.......LOL.
6. Get Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges.
7. Go for the turbo upgrade. It is a lot cheaper to do it now rather than wish you had later. You should be able to get a deal on accessories ($400) and maybe enough to get the upgrade for free. Shop around a little.
8. Put a boost control and meth injection on your wish list.
Have fun boost will put a smile on your face.....

Allen Nelson sells the in-line Walbro pump with a good quality wiring harness with a fuse and relay too.
I second that....
You just don't know what your saying yet...it will never be enough boost.

255 inline, and even 42lb FMS injectors will work fine. At our fuel pressure, they're more like 48lb, but you'll figure if you tap it out, you'll see a drop in fuel pressure anyway. 6psi Aught to run pretty good, I'm lookin at an STS for my tahoe, but not sure if it's "smog" legal yet in CA (stupid *****).
