Default turbo Oil Thingy aka pancake? help!

ok well im stuck i got a silv ss 6.0 and trying to install this trick low mount setup that came off a 5.3...... a friend of mine with a sts kit told me i need the one with 2 holes in it for the oil coolant bypass mine only has one.......... so here are some pics and anyone know where i can get one with 2 holes from??? this is the only thing i need to figure out cuz my new oil pump will be coming in soon... so i need to get this thing ready... i tried STS but they wont sell me the pancake without buying there kit...

you talkin about the peice that bolts to the engine or turbo?

That looks like the oil feed to the turbo. You can either bolt the oil feed to the turbo via the flange, or depending on the turbo, you can just thread the fitting right into the turbo.

That could be an aftermarket piece that bolts to the engine right above the oil filter though. If that's the case, then you don't need it either. Just drill and tap the factory piece for 1/8 NPT.

Ive seen some of the engines dont have the right block off to be tapped.. but the right ones are cheap.

I'm wondering if he has a factory oil cooler like a 3/4 ton.

yes it is the line thats connected to the turbo but what im showing is the side that goes on the engine side.... i was told i need one with 2 holes in it cuz i have a oil bypasS?

The fitting you have in the first pic should work just fine with one elongated hole. That's how mine is.

Mine is a drilled and tapped factory blockoff plate, which has the single elongated hole. You'll be fine.
