Turbo oil fittings and lines
#1
Can you turbo guys share what size oil fittings and lines you're using. I'm looking for info on...
- The fitting to tap into the block piece above the oil filter, no oil cooler on mine.
- What size oil feed line to run? I'm leaning towards -3AN, I don't see the point of anything larger. I've read of people using restrictors down to 0.050". -3AN ID is 0.110" for the line that I had sitting around.
- Fitting size for turbo oil inlet, it's an MP70. Any benefit of using an adapter rather than threading directly into the housing? What is the thread size into the turbo?
- Adapter for turbo oil outlet?
- Line for oil drain? -10AN seems to be popular. Planning on plumbing it into the timing cover as low as possible.

You might wanna ask trick or kbracing if they will sell you a oil line kit?
Most turbo inlets are 1/8"npt
-4 an is most popular for the feed
I just drilled and tapped the factory oil port boss for 1/8" npt amd threw a 1/8npt to -4an adapter in it.
Use a turbo drian flange, most are 1/2" npt. And -10 is 5/8"?
Ive got everything setup for a -12 drain just for the heck of it.
Some say if your drain is setup right, you wont need a restrictor.
