So do this:

set your timing, and walk your boost up 1 psi at a time until you see KR, then back off 1 psi.

Drop your timing 4* and add a 50 shot. If no KR step up to 75, etc.

That's how much

In the mean time, start saving for the new tranny lol

the limit is mostly based on your tune and fuel quality, not so much on how strong the parts are. you can break a stock piston at 5psi pretty easy, at the same time i have gone 12psi and a 75shot on a mostly stock lq4 and i think it would take more. if you let it knock it will break and break fast.

go in small steps, watch the tune(af ratio/knock...).

i would say on pump gas you are geting near the limit of what you will get away with.
