turbo muffler options
#1
what are you turboed guys running exhaust wise? i want mine to be pretty quiet.
i have a 6.2 muffler laying around but kinda on the ropes on installing it.
will it be too restrictive ?
i also have a e-cutout i could install.
i plan on running 3.5" since thats what the downpipe is. so might as well run it all like that.

You want straight through with turbo, the bigger the better. Any reduction in back pressure is going to help. I will tell you that the bullet type race mufflers do absolutely nothing for sound. I usually use magniflow on everything and they work great. Vibrant aluminum mufflers are ok.... perforation on those is a pipe with holes drilled in it lol.
I want something a little more quite too. I intend on running the wastegates open air, so i'll have plenty of noise when i'm on it. I'm currently looking for a muffler for my setup. I found this 4" muffler on summit. Not sure if i can even fit this bad boy lol

How much in boost increase did you see with cutout open. I wouldn't want to open the cutout and cause any damage.
