Default Turbo manifold primary size?

Hey guys,

I think I'm just going to build a second Turbo kit and run my KB kit on my hd.

My question is, is there a optimum primary size you would run in a 427 with either a billet 88, gt-91, or a 94mm? I know a 2.5" crossover seems to be the go to size I'm just not really sure about primary size.

Thanks
Kody

^^ Very good info, I was wondering about running a small crossover on my MP70 4.8 for a quicker spool. A guy tends to get jaded looking at all the 800hp+ setups on this site. Everyone seems to run a 2.5" crossover when a 2" (or maybe even 1.75") would probably be better for your average mild street setup.

Just run a smaller ar on the turbo. Or even a smaller turbo.
62mm on a 5.3 or 6.0 will have great throttle responce. And will still get into the 500 range.
