Anybody have ram air setups off the turbo for track days. That's the pics I wanna see. I figure 2 45* bends should be just right to come out right where the high beam is... Thoughts?

I have an aluminum box that a friend built for me in place of the stock box. I'll have to dig up a pic to post.

I have my fresh air line going to my elbo In front of the turbo and installed a check valve in line with the stock PVC valve.

Did you guys get track numbers or dyno numbers of having elbows and "CAI" for the turbos compared to jus the filter?

Is it worth making one of these to pull air from the stock box location?

Yes it's very worth it. Even just a 90° off the turbo is better than having the filter directly on the turbo.

When I first did my install I had the filter on the turbo. Iat's were way up. It draws right off the radiator. After the box install they dropped a **** ton. Just cruising I went from 50+ iat over oat. Now it's 10* over oat.

I just found the specs of all the filters that afe makes and bought the biggest one that would fit. And you could always just pull the headlight when you get to the track.
