Default Turbo Guys chime in. Please

I need some help/input. The build on my truck is slowly going boost. Even though I don't want to add another turbo Silverado to the group. Im slowly starting to gather parts for a custom try and build it myself Turbo setup. Right now plan is Lq4 cleaned up worked 317 heads, ls6 intake, Tu2 cam, E85. And turbo I have my eye on is T6 s480 range. What waste gate or gates should I go with and what BOV. Any sort of help will be awesome Thanks.

I'm running a precision 46mm waste gate and the turbosmart raceport BOV. Both have been awesome to me with my set up. I'm sure both of those would be able to control boost just fine for your set up.

The wastegate is subjective to how much you are trying to control boost. Also exhaust size will play a role. I have a TiAL 38mm wastegate and an eBay (EMUSA) Wastegate. The TiAL was used on a setup before I got it and showed no issues controlling down to 8psi on a 7875 Turbonetics and an LQ4 through a 3" downpipe.

I have a 46mm Precision gate that seems to be holding real well. I have it mounted in the crossover pipe. When I built it I designed it so that it enters straight in the bottom of the gate, and exits pretty much straight out the gate. Im not sure if mounting it that way helped, but I have no complaints so far. I have a Tial BOV that works real well too. Many people have said you can go cheap on the BOV, but don't cheap out on the WG. My twin build will have 2 39mm Precision gates, and more than likely 2 cheap BOV's.

That's a lot of cam. The TU1 would be a better fit if you haven't already purchased the cam.

I'm running an eBay WyntonM wastegate and BOV on my truck and my bros Chevelle has a chinese 60mm gate and 50mm BOV. Both have been working great.
