Can anyone post up pics of their exhaust... I'm gonna redo my exhaust myself and was looking for ideas on how to do it. I did a half *** job on the one I have now just to get it rolling. I'm gonna buy exhaust tubin and a 180 bend s I can cut and wld everything.

 

For a front mount, Duramax exhaust...

 

Mine comes straight off the 4" downpipe to a 4" magnaflow to a 4" single over the axle and 4" tip. All the way back, big and open. Really simple and works.

Thats what mine is all 4" mandrel bent with a dynomax straight thru muffler. I rean it over the axle but it is dumped up tight under the passenger rear so you can not see it.

 

^ got any sound clips of this? I was gonna do either 3.5" or 4" off my 3" DP with a single round race muffler.

 

I dont it is mellow at cruis actually with very little droan, it is loud under boost. It is deep without much rasp or that "snap" that some trucks have the muffler is 4" in out with like a 20 or 24" case and 6" diameter i believe

 

well thanks for the info anyway.. thats what I was hoping to hear, not too loud while cruising.

 

I love the sound, it's got just a mild rumble at idle, nothing at all that would **** off the neighbors, cruise sounds just like any truck with a nice exhaust on it. You can hear it when you get on it but still only about half as loud as a harley with pipes. Not bad.
