Default Turbo with clutch fan?

So is it possible to run a turbo with my clutch fan? Truck is a 2500 6.0. Likely a Trick or KB kit with like an S475 or similar. Can the piping be made to work?

Don't think it will work with the bigger 34" radiator. I was able to fit the cold side with the smaller 28" radiator but once I upgraded to the 34 there's no longer room for the pipes along the drivers side and obviously you can't come up from the bottom with the clutch fan in place. I'm sure if you're creative though you could come up with something.

Yes can be done.
But you are leaving a good amount of power in the table.
Depending on year could complicate the cold pipe routing.

Just curious on why you want to keep your clutch fan so bad? Im running ebay e fans that were $70 and they work great

Mechanical is more reliable. I would have preferred to keep the clutch fan, but I had to upgrade the cooling system and it wasn't going to work with the 34" radiator and my cold side piping. That being said, my OEM efans have been completely reliable and effective but I am using an OEM harness to control them. I watched a friend in the staging lanes trying to fix his due to a relay burning up. Never have I felt a SOTP with clutch versus efans both N/A or turbo.

Rad size doesn't matter. It just changes how the pipes route.

My old truck ran a clutch fan. Pipes were pretty simple to do for the cold side.

I have e-fans on it now, but last summer towing through SD and Wyoming in the heat I had some heating issues. Had to back off near the top of some of the bigger climbs. Trailer is 7500 lbs or so. Never had this problem before with clutch fan setup. Also melted a relay shortly after that trip, so I think the clutch fan setup is more reliable and simple. I started the thread about turbo for towing a few weeks ago, and cooling will be a huge priority if I go that route.

Is there a good drop-in higher performance rad available while we're on the subject?

Thanks for the input, looks like it should be do-able to run a clutch fan.
