Default Turbo cam good for N/A too?

May go ahead and get the cam now since the Trucker is going to be small for the 408. I was looking at the cam that TurboBerserker has in his sig, 236/230 on a 115 lsa, I dunno what lift it is, I think somewhere around .600. Will a good turbo cam work well on my temporary N/A setup too? I would imagine it would be better than the 216/224 that I was planning on using.

Ive driven my truck with no boost and my turbo cam is fine. I Drove it for about 300ish miles before turbo went on.(my cam is smaller than yours at 226,222)

Yeah, there are lots of reverse split cams that people run NA. It shouldn't be a problem to run that cam NA for a while. You going to have headers and good exhaust? That will help out with that cam.

Yeah, it will work fine for a temp NA cam. It is at .60x/.600 on lift.

Why not. That is exactly what I would do to save on doing the cam swap later.

Ok ok I'm gonna do it all now. TurboBerserker - where did you get that cam? MFG and model? Have you been happy with it?

Yes for turbo in the future - about 15 psi probably.

I have Pacesetter LT's and ORY planned for exhaust mated to a Corsa cat-back. I think I'll be good for exhaust.

And yes Cody, I'm going to do heads now too Happy??
