Default which turbo cam

Got an 01 gmc Z71 with a 6.0. Going to turbo it in the next few Weeks and need to which cam is best for me. Have ls7 lifters ls6 oil pump and going to p&p the heads myself. That's all right now. Use the truck only on the weekends to pull my 4500lb boat but I love to get in the gas when its not behind me tho. So I reckon Priority would be towing and second priority would be speed. Want something driveable. If y'all recommend a custom cam who do you recommend talking too. Thanks!

I would suggest an isky cam as many others will likely suggest. The speed inc cams are also a proven option. TU0 if you want more mild or TU1.5 if you want to get more aggressive.

Triple 12 is proven but contact stock48. He can let you know exactly what you need. A lot of guys run it in a 6.0 but I think he has one a step bigger that may suit you better.

Keep your duration small. This will help tremendously in low end torque for pulling a boat.

I would suggest a 224R on a 112. Not only will this make good low end torque in a 6.0, it will also have 0* of overlap and not bleed off boost in the cylinder.

triple 12 would be good, Stock48 ran one in his 6.0 and also ran or does run a 214/214 I believe.

I have the triple 12 and I made 300whp/310wtq NA in my 5.3. Figure adding 10psi should add around 160rwhp or so, that would be pretty nice even out of a 6.0.
