See now that vid makes me hesitate. The blanket does a wonderful job protecting everything outside of the blanket, but is it ok on everything inside?

Issues with oil coking? Damage after the vehicle has been run then shut off? Like aluminum foil on the holiday turkey
I'm just a little protective of my PTE unit.

Never shut you truck down right after boosting.
Or pulling a load.
That is when the turbo will be at its hottest. Run only quality oil. WE recommend full synthetic.

Yea if you have been making some hard pulls just let it idle for a couple of minutes before you kill the engine. But if you are worried about it that much you could install an oil cooler.

No I never would just shut it off after being into boost. I know better.
Makes sense, alright, you sold me on the idea. Thanks for the advice.

turbo timer.

or i idle through my neighborhood and into the garage and make sure not to get on the boost close to home.
