Hey guys I'm new to the whole performance truck scene. I'm looking to put a turbo on my truck and I want to make somewhere around 500 hp to the ground. Where should I purchase a kit from? I want it to be intercooled as well.

ON3 has a nice kit that is brand new. Price is great, power potential is slightly on the low side due to smaller components. They have upgrades so power is easily upgraded, but as always at a cost.

 

I can build you a kit for what ever power level you want. Just let me know.

 

I've purchased 2 of Kyle's (KBRacing) kits and the quality/power potential is awesome.

 

KB's kits are awesome from what I have seen. You get what you pay for! I don't know that KB offers entry level kits for a tight budget, do you?

 

I'm looking into doing the same thing. My tahoe is a daily driver so I need it to be reliable. I don't think finding the kit is the problem. It would be all the other supporting mods like fuel pump injector's and stuff like that how much boost would it take for 500hp? What would be the best size turbo also.
