turbo 4.8 change lifters?

are the dual patriot gold valve springs that much better than the ls6 springs? Whats the added benefit, or why did you choose those over the ls6 springs?

As far as rockers, just do the trunion upgrade from comp on the stockers.

More seat pressure and insurance of a dual to keep from dropping the valve in the event of a failure,and I got a good deal on them.

sounds good to me. Ive got just about enough funds to start building a 4.8 turbo DD and im looking to make it as reliable as possible. I say this now, but I've never ran the **** out of any of my other trucks and I don't plan on doing that to this one, i just want some serious power once that turbo kicks in to put a smile on my face once in a while. Now if only i could find a 4.8 rcsb 2wd sierra for sale, I'm having no luck! Startin to tick me off.

Also, i was reading on LS1tech that those patriot golds don't have the best longevity as some of the other springs, but that was with cams over .6xx. Didn't know what you've heard about this issue. Good luck with the build man and thanks for the help.
