Default Turbo 4.8 ???

Im new to the truck scene, i have an LT1 camaro thats H/C/I full bolt on , but i want to hop up the truck . Maybe outrun some stock lt1 cars.

Is it possible to run boost thru my 4.8 , all it has is exhaust and 87000 miles on her .

THanks Trey

You can definitely put some f/i on that thing, someone told me they respond well to turbos

And for some reason the 4.8 has been standing up to some SERIOUS abuse under boost, some say its because lower end geometry.

If all you want to do is outrun stock LT1 stuff, finish your boltons, get a nice converter/built trans. And throw about a 100 shot on it. Done!

What are you talking about...

Anyways, kbracing96 boosted his 4.8 for a long long time his only problem was lifting a head on highboost, but even then it ran fine if kept under 7lbs.

Boost the **** out of it.

There's a dude who's actually banned here who calls himself Quik, or 7845 on some boards, who turbo'd a 4.8 all the way to 700hp. He compared it to an import V8, cause there wasn't a whole lot of low end torque, but roll racing that thing would be deadly.

I think a boosted 4.8 would lay the smack down on modded LT-1's
