Stock 4.3L without anything done should be 190hp and 250 ft lbs of torque from the factory at the flywheel but he said it made 180rwhp before the turbo was added to it.

Jim, I am not sure if you should run the oil return pump upside down. The Reverso pump I have says not to. The oil can leak by the shaft seal and contaminate the motor. I would check with the supplier to see if you can run it inverted. The Reverso can be run upright or horizontally.

Nice build!

i didin't know there was a top/bottom to the pump. i found this on their site but it is for their cheaper pump. there are no instructions on the more expensive pump.

"The pump will run in any orientation – vertical, horizontal, upside down, and at any angle."

i am surprised it made 180rwhp stock especially on that dyno. just going from the hp number we can guess it made close to the fwhp rated numbers for tq as well. call it 240rwtq?

based on that the truck is up 125rwhp and 140rwtq at 8.5psi.

i told the owner about the header wrap and he has some ordered all ready, a am interested to see how much difference it makes. w wont have any dyno numbers or anything like that.

he also has some caltracs on the way.

hell yeah, that would be a fun project. go rob a bank or something.

do they have hp tuners for your engine? is that a 4l60e tranny? if yes and yes then that thing is begging for some boost.

Ya, both HPT and EFILive support the I5's in the Colorado's. I've been trying to talk my brother into turboing his 07 cc4x4 CO, There not great on gas and don't really have much power, so would be perfect for them, and with the way the motor is setup, would be EASY!
