tubro hp max on 5.3
#1
I tried to find forum that who have show 5.3 what they make horsepower and torque with (EITHER Kbracing, and trick turbo) I just curious what they make running and what is good to run max psi of boost on 5.3 with stock engine. Maybe do cam later. After that want to see with forged 346 motor what horsepower will be change? Also the psi too. I just want things to get all compared from sc and turbo. Thats why.

Hasn't Rick at synergy made over 700 (tt) on a Dynapak I believe and Parish8 over 600 on a Dynojet or Mustang dyno? Not exactly apples to apples though. Should do 500-600 with a perfect tune, but that may be on the edge I would think. Most everyone ends up pushing it 'till it eventually blows the hell up.

The 5.3 is good for a reliable 500rwhp IMO but more can certainly be made. I have been in the mid/high 500's for a while but honestly I dont drive around with my peddle mashed all the time
Rick has made well over 800 with his LM7 based 5.3L

Mine lm7 I think cuz its IRON block. WHat yall running psi daily and what max psi will be safe for race? Trever1t are you only first time had radix or had turbo before? Jw.

Never had a turbo and honestly only been in one TC'd truck, Ricks and it scared the livin' crap out of me
sitting in the passenger seat burning off 3rd
I run the same boost on the street or track, only thing i do different for the track is turn on the nitrous. Not sure what Rick has his CR at, but mine is stock at 9.9:1
I chose SC for a few reasons, top of which were completeness, instant on and CARB cert. I am extremely happy with the results, even with the stock Magnuson setup I was able to run low 13's.

5.3 is a good tough engine. It all comes down to the tune, which turbo and how hard you want to push it. 500-600 is a very fun to drive truck. Especially is its a RCSB. In my sig there is a customers link, just showing some of customers rides.

I put down 460rwhp and 475rwtq with the KBracing front mount kit and MP T-70 turbo with .96 a/r exhaust. That's just a 5.3 on 6psi... No meth, and no nitrous... I will be well over 500rwhp/500rwtq on just 9psi all boost.

Wowo it is badass. How about mp t-61 with .68 a/r I think its correct number. IT will able to make 500 hp?
