Default TSP LS3 429ci TVS 2300

Dropping an Edelbrock E-Force TVS 2300 on my current setup, here are some details:

Truck is a 2002 Z71 4x4 suburban

TSP 429ci stroker shortblock
11:1 comp
25X/26X cam on a 111LSA
CNC LS3 heads
FAST 102 intake
NW 102 TB
TSP 1 7/8 Longtubes
True dual 3” exhaust into two Borla mufflers
Circle D 3400 stall
PerformaBuilt stage III trans
4.88 gears

447rwhp/370tq on 22s wrapped in a 33” m/t DYNOJET
502rwhp/437tq on a stock 17” wheel DYNOJET
Pat G tuned

Built by Abe @LUNATICCUSTOMPERFORMANCE

Everything is staying the same, obviously besides the FAST 102 intake.

TVS 2300
3.5” pulley
E85
New fuel system good for about 1100hp on E85

Original pulley that comes with the kit is a 3.875”, and makes about 5.5-6lbs of boost on a stock 6.2L. I went with a one size smaller pulley to a 3.5” to pull the boost back up to about 6lbs. Boost drop due to TSP 1 7/8” longtubes and CNC’d heads.

Everything is installed and ready to go! Hits the dyno for tuning next week!
What are you guys projected numbers that she’ll put down!??

Not sure about the hp if the Eforce still has the really long runners they used to but the torque should be incredible. That's what you need anyway for that big rig so it should be a lot of fun no question!

Eforce will pull the power to 6500, there is a tad bit of boost creep from about 5900-6500rpm, due to the longer runners.. But it will forsure pull the horsepower to 6500 strong. I’m on ls1 tech as well, a few people making 750+ with their E-force, and a bunch in 650whp ballpark. They are pushing the blower prettt hard, making around 14lbs of boost. I should be around 650rwhp on a weee bit 6-7lbs. I am very surprised I haven’t seen anybody port these blowers, snout, inside, runners and all. I will forsure pull the blower off after a while and will be porting it. That an easy 50-90rwhp, on less boost 🤘🏼🤘🏼
+runs cooler
+more efficient
+more power less effort (boost), which is the ultimate goal

Look up Ted! ☝🏼

What kind of power are you makin’ with the 2.9 whipple? That blower is originally what gave me the blower bug 🕷 wanting some boost

I am surprised no one has ported them either! They seem like they would see massive gains.

I'm surprised youre even seeing that much boost with an engine of that size and that cam! Spin it a little harder and this thing is going to be ANGRY!

Not much because its bone stock except tune. I wish I had something like you but Ive decided Im going to pay it off by end of next year and then a 6.2 probably with supporting mods. I think it was 445 and 470 tuned but Sam backed it off just a tad for DD. I sure thought it would be lazy but instead its instant even with the 5.3.

I’m not quite sure how much boost it’s making at the moment, I just installed it. Should be on the rollers tomorrow, hopefully 🤞🏼 The kit came with a 3.875” pulley, that produces 5.5-6lbs on a stock 6.2. I went ahead and got the 3.5” pulley and put it on, due to the cam, headers, and heads. So hopefully I’ll be back up around 5.5-6lbs. I wasn’t worried about changing cams, it is pretty darn big and has a lot of overlap, and I will lose boost due to the fact, but the upside helps lower static compression on my 11:1 motor, as well helps cool the exhaust valve, this improving reliability on the street. Also the big cam will help the blower on the top end, vise versa, the blower makes up for the big cam down low. I think it will all compliment each other pretty well tbh. Also, the e85 will be a tremendous help with cooling/detonation. E85 and high compression love to mate! If I can pull about 650rwp on 6lbs, I’m a very happy camper. After I port the blower should see around 700 running even more efficient!

Thats 5.5-6psi on a bone stock 376ci engine. One that would dyno lower than your truck did with the blower as it comes.

This thing is barely going to make boost lol

I agree with the rest of what you said. But you're going to need to spin the blower more I think.

Honestly, I’m going to opt to a whole new camshaft. Most likely reach out to pat G, have him spec me one out. Definitely not going to leave this cam in, wayyyyyyy too much overlap. Yes, I also agree, it’ll probably only make 4lbs at the most .

Hope it has a 4l80e in it and not a 4l60e anymore. Your weight of that thing and your low end torque will be deadly.
