^^^ ha ha. Toss a kit on your 4.8 w 5-6 psi and I promise you will love it.

Still driving the **** outta my truck and beating the hell outta it everyday. Colder fall/winter air gave me another 1-1.5 of boost so I turned it down to 10psi.

 Trick Performance.

Gonna be a bit though cuz I still need a motor that will hold it. Thought about putting it on the stock 4.8 in the truck now, but by the time I have the cash to get it put on like it is, I'll have the cash to get a good motor built and do it right. Earlier in the year I bought a pair of 58mm turbos for my wife's pickup... When I opened this kit and showed her the turbo for mine, she looked at me and asked if I'd bought her a new turbo lol.
Might show off your build once you get started.
That 6" inter cooler.

Where the crossover bolts to the log manifold was a PITA to get the bolts and nuts threaded, unless you remove the fender liner. i welded studs back in the flange when mine went back together to make things easier.

I def think any one installing a turbo kit should take the 5 min and remove both inner fender skins. way more light to get in, and room to wrench.

All stainless cast manifold use studs now.
Agreed remove the front pass tire and skirt. Will decrease install time, save your back, and for me just makes the install easier all the way around.

This Thread was great while installing my kit, also the new manifod looks and works great! allot of drool from people who see it. It worked great installing the intercooler a week before the build and then all it took was a friday night and a saturday and I had mine done!
Works great but the boost is addictive!

How does your catch can or PCV vent the crankcase pressure when under boost?

Do you have any oil splashing from that small filter on the pass valve cover under boost?

Hi, I am currently running no catch can or pcv. I have no filter on the passenger side vent but i do notice a very small ammount of oil comes out after a long pull.
I am wondering what everyone else does?
