Default Trick Performance Products Turbo Kit

Is anybody running this?

Trick Performance Products Turbo Kits

If so, what was the result?

Considering for a 4.8 in a 2005 Yukon. That and a hotter cam and a higher stall speed . . . maybe lower the gears from 3.23 down to 3.73?

Thoughts?

Im running it on my 5.3, but I made my own intercooler set up and installed a snow stage 1 meth kit on top of that. Im very happy with it overall.

Can you tell me some about what it is like to drive it before (stock) and after? Any performance numbers? Are you at 7 psi?

Its a night and day difference, you will nearly double your hp depending on your boost level. Im guessing you've never been in a turbo truck... Check out some vids on youtube to give you a visual

Nope - never had one, but I have a Volvo with a turbo, and it is so much fun that I started thinking, I need to get one of these on my truck!

Out of boost driving will be the same in my opinion, at least it is on my truck. Im running 10psi, and before the cam and headwork, it made 543rwhp. Its a beast! Just make sure your tuning is dead on.

Wow! That is pretty amazing for at the wheels with only 10psi. What is it making now with the cam (which one?) and headwork?

Yes, please do! This is all very interesting.

^ yep, It wouldn't be as bad if you had a Reg cab truck or a Ls1 camaro for that matter, but with that heavy beast of an suv you will start breaking stuff lol.

I'd really recommend running a safe very conservative tune maybe 5psi until you can save up for a new built trans, unless you don't care if you tear **** up.
